What are the venue offerings at Magnolia Manor?
Magnolia Manor offers a variety of venues to meet your conference, private party, or event needs. From the beautiful wedding garden with wisteria arbor, garden room and garden deck to three beautiful parlor rooms with southern porch verandas for more intimate events, Magnolia Manor offers plenty of southern charm.
 

What are the capacities for Magnolia Manor venues?

  • The Wedding Garden offers capacity for 250+
  • The Garden Room has sit down capacity for 75 for conferences or catered events
  • Adjoining the Garden Room is the Garden Deck which offers an additional capacity (150) for dining alfresco, dancing under the stars or tenting to provide a weather secure event for 250. Magnolia Manner offers a Board Room with Wi-Fi and electronics for business and civic meetings. The board room is lavishly equipped with a 10 chair conference table. An additional 10 folding chairs may be added for a total capacity of 20
  • Magnolia Manor offers three parlor rooms with covered verandas for events for up to (40). Rooms and verandas may be added together for additional capacity
  • All of our gardens and lawns (front, side and rear) may be rented for a variety of events

Does Magnolia Manor offer discounts to charities and non-profit groups?
Magnolia Manor offers significant discounts to support local charities and non-profit groups.
 

Does Magnolia Manor offer catering and other services?
Magnolia Manor offers catered events using the services of the best local caterers. Our planning staff can provide recommendations for local florists, photographers, and wedding suppliers to meet your every need. Please plan to visit our “Bridal Inspiration Room".
 

Can we book the facility for a photo shoot?
Photo shoots are allowed on the property with an executed contract only. Photo shoots are included with booked events. Group or Family photo shoots may be booked for a two hour session with a $50 donation to The Magnolia Manor Preservation Fund.
 

What extras are included in my rental?
Magnolia Manor rentals include up to 100 white folding chairs, 5-60 inch and 7-48 inch folding tables, 5 (60 inch) rectangle tables and an eight foot oval serving table. Table cloths are also included. Additional chairs and tables may be rented through preferred vendors. Garden events include the wedding arbor, the fountain and the wisteria arbor. The rental also includes a variety of plant and display stands for use with your event.
 

Is a deposit required at booking?
A non-refundable booking deposit equal to 50% of the rental fee is required at booking. This deposit will be credited toward your total rental fee. The balance of the rental fee, the damage deposit and all other agreed upon fees will be due 30 days prior to the event date.
 

Is a damage deposit required?
A damage deposit (equal to the lesser of $500 or 50% of the rental cost) is required at booking. This deposit covers damages and/or cleanup costs. The deposit balance will be returned within 10 days of your event less any damages or unpaid balance. 
 

Does Magnolia Manor serve alcohol?
Magnolia Manor does not serve alcohol. Private parties and events wishing to serve alcohol will be required to pay an additional security fee of $200 and will be required to provide a certified bar tender(s) for the event.
 

Do I need Insurance?
Our contract requires the host to assume all liability for accidents, injury or damages to or by your caterers, suppliers or guests. We recommend the host purchase an events liability insurance policy to cover each event. An events liability policy can be added by your agent to your homeowner’s policy or purchased separately through a local agent at a relatively small charge. Magnolia Manor will require a Certificate of Insurance (COI) from the host for events serving alcohol.
 

How many planning visits are included with my rental?
Visits to the facility prior to your event (with your musicians, florists and caterers) are encouraged and should be scheduled in advance. Up to three planning visits are allowed. Additional visits will incur a $125/hr charge with a 1 hour minimum.
 

When is a facility manager available?
A facility manager will be at the facility during all scheduled events including planning visits, setup, and cleanup.
 

Is an events coordinator available?
An events or wedding coordinator is available to manage your event for an additional charge depending on the size of the event.
 

Does Magnolia Manor provide security?
Magnolia Manor provides a security officer for all events of 100 or more and events serving alcohol. An additional security charge does apply.
 

What other charges may apply to my rental?

  • Sales tax- 7% sales tax will apply for all charges except damage deposits
  • Security Fee- A security fee of $200.00 will apply for all events of 100 or more guests and/or events serving alcohol
  • Private Events Coordinator - based on event size
  • Damages- Damages to the facility, equipment, furnishings or grounds will be assessed against damage deposits. Magnolia Manor reserves the right to assess additional charges in excess of the deposit for cases of excessive damage.
